Park Lane International School, located in the historical neighbourhood of Stresovice near the centre of Prague, was founded in 2008. The school opened with just three EYFS classes and a Year 1 class with a total of 42 children. The school has developed year on year and now has classes to Year 5, with up to three forms in some year groups. The current roll stands at 165 with a capacity of 180, expected to be reached by September this year. Park Lane is a growing school, and has exciting plans in place to develop even further and open a Secondary School within the coming years.

The school aims to maintain its nurturing ethos and small, family feel, while creating a stimulating learning environment to develop its pupils into successful, confident, lifelong learners. The school teaches the National Curriculum for England and also prepares the Czech pupils for their annual Czech exams. The intention is to offer the IB in the Secondary School. The school successfully passed its ISI inspection in October 2011 and became an Executive Member of the Council of British International Schools (COBIS).

The School Board is seeking to recruit an exceptional individual for their new Principal, who can demonstrate the commitment and experience to drive forward the growth and success of the School and to prepare and lead the School into the next phase of its development, in particular the introduction of Key Stage 3 and the launch of the Secondary School.

To be the successful candidate, you will be an experienced UK and international school leader. You will have energy and vision, with a flair for communication and able to build and lead effective teams. With an approachable and warm personality, you will demonstrate a passion for delivering a high quality international education. You will need good knowledge and understanding of both the National Curriculum for England as well as the IB.
