Hockerill Anglo-European College is looking for an inspirational and ambitious Director of Mathematics who has the flair and passion to lead a committed team within a Mathematics Faculty teaching motivated and talented students.

An oversubscribed and outstanding school with an exceptional reputation, set on a parkland campus, Hockerill has a strong international perspective and offers the International Baccalaureate Diploma and Middle Years Programmes. Experience of the International Baccalaureate would be viewed with interest but is not a prerequisite. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to teach mathematics across the age and ability range.

Hockerill is a very successful school and has high expectations of its supportive and dynamic students and staff. The College was previously IB School of the Year and has consistently topped the comprehensive state school sixth form league tables. Hockerill is one of only 37 state boarding schools, with a vibrant international community of 380 boarders and 440 day students. It is situated in the historic market town of Bishop’s Stortford and is within 30 minutes of both London and Cambridge, with Stansted Airport just 10 minutes away.

Applications are invited as soon as possible via the AMC Teacher website.
