AMC Dine and Discuss has an important place in the word of educational ideas and debate. With eight years prior to Covid, D&D has been a confidential conversation over dinner at which prominent educationalists, politicians and business leaders lead debate on issues ranging from cutting edge ideas on the curriculum to the role that education plays in social mobility.
Speakers have included Sir Anthony Seldon, Lord Lucas and Neil Carmichael, former chairman of the Commons Education Committee, and Eve Jardine-Young, Principal of Cheltenham Ladies College. Numbers are limited to twenty-five and the evening is carefully steered by Anthony Millard whose own career has spanned education, business and politics.
