At the COBIS Annual Conference on 13 May, Rod Grant, AMC Managing Director and Head at Clifton Hall Edinburgh, gave a superb presentation about how ‘Self-Knowledge is key’.
He shared tales of some of his own life experiences and power of the mind, and how these have impacted and shaped his own values and actions throughout his career and adult life, and as a school leader.
Rod encouraged the audience to reflect of their own life experiences, and how these can affect their own style of leadership and impact in the work place.
As Rod says: “The power of the mind and previous lived experiences play key role in our values and actions – as leaders we must recognize and reflect on these, as self knowledge is key.”
