AMC is delighted to be working with SPGS International for the appointment of a Founding Head for SPGS International School (Singapore).
This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced forward-thinking educational leader with a global outlook to play a pivotal role in creating a world-class school.
We are seeking to appoint an experienced, dynamic and inspirational school leader who is a skilled strategic thinker and an effective planner, someone able to build effective relationships and deliver educational programmes at the highest level.
Located on a spectacular campus, the School will offer an enhanced British Curriculum from Nursery to Year 9, IGCSE in Years 10-11, and A-levels in Years 12-13. Initially the school will open for Primary years, expanding through into a Senior School in the following years. Once at capacity the school will accommodate 1200-1400 students.
The Founding Head will be responsible for the successful launch, growth and stability of the School including the appointment and development of a team of passionate educators. As well as the day-to-day operations during pre-opening and beyond, their vision, inspiration, and leadership will create a dynamic learning environment where students’ wellbeing and achievements are paramount.
The Founding Head will create and implement a strategic vision that delivers an outstanding educational experience true to our vision and mission and authentic to the values and outlook of our partnership school in the UK, SPGS London. They will need to inspire and challenge as an ambassador for the school whilst also being accessible to staff, students and parents. Creating a school of this calibre will require a person of distinct dedication, energy and commitment who will work tirelessly towards achieving this vision. There will be many challenges but also huge rewards for the right person.
The Founding Head will start in April 2026 or as soon as possible, and play a leading role in the pre-opening stage of the school. The post commands a competitive salary and benefits package.
