The Island Private School of Limassol and Anthony Millard Consulting are delighted to invite applications for the role of Head of School, to commence in July 2026.

This is an outstanding opportunity for a leader with energy and ambition to continue to grow a school community in Cyprus at an exciting stage of the school’s development. The school opened in 2022 and our community includes 800+ students and about 200 dedicated educators and team members from around the world, all united by a shared passion for nurturing curiosity, creativity, and excellence.

At The Island Private School in Limassol, we believe that education is more than a curriculum — it’s a calling to inspire, to nurture, and to empower the next generation of change-makers. As the only full IB Continuum School (PYP, MYP, DP and CP) in Cyprus, and home to vibrant Waldorf and Montessori programmes, we offer a diverse learning environment that respects individuality and cultivates purpose.

In August 2025, we proudly launched our Boarding Campus, offering students from across the region a caring, supportive home-away-from-home. Looking ahead, we are preparing to open a new, purpose-built campus for over 2500 students that will support our long-term vision for growth, innovation, and world-class education.

As the most senior academic and operational leader of the school, the Head of School plays a pivotal role in shaping the strategic vision, academic excellence, and operational success of the institution. This role combines visionary leadership with practical execution to foster a thriving, inclusive learning community. The Head of School ensures continued development and coherence across all educational programmes (IB, Waldorf, Montessori, Forest School), oversees the boarding provision, and leads the transition to the new campus. The successful candidate will also guide the school through key accreditations including CIS and BSA, while cultivating a culture of high expectations, collaboration, and wellbeing.

Further details are available in the Candidate Brief. For a preliminary discussion please contact Anthony Millard Consulting: Natasha Watson – natasha@anthonymillard.co.uk

Applications will be considered on receipt and early applications are advised. Candidates who are short-listed will be invited to interviews, which will take place in January 2026.

The Island Private School of Limassol school are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. An enhanced DBS check is required for all successful applications.
