HEAD OF SCHOOL

Ages 2-18, Co-educational, Day

Anthony Millard Consulting are supporting the search for an inspirational Head of School at Edinburgh Steiner School, to guide one of the UK’s leading Steiner Waldorf schools into its next phase of development.

Located in south Edinburgh the school educates around 300 pupils aged 2-18. We are committed to nurturing free-thinking, responsible young people through an education grounded in Rudolf Steiner’s insights into child development.

This is our most senior executive position, providing leadership across pedagogy, operations, finance and community life.

The successful candidate will have:

• Substantial senior leadership experience in education
• GTCS registration (or eligibility to obtain it)
• Strong knowledge of Steiner Waldorf education and anthroposophy
• Commitment to the values and ethos of the school
• Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills
• Experience managing significant budgets and multi-disciplinary teams
